Halloween Party in the Old Library
On Wednesday 26th October afternoon the Old Library was bursting at the seams as over 150 adults and young children held a Halloween party. Ghouls, Witches, Skeletons, and other horrible creatures roamed around. Lots of shrieks and screams and howls (and that was just the adults). To help things along they had a monster Disco and a scary Clown. The place was jumping!
The event was organised by Sarah Swan through her company www.nearlynewnearyou.co.uk and all money was raised for Warwick Hospitals Special Care Baby Unit. Her company was put together as a way of helping the community by offering parents a place to buy good quality nearly new baby/children items and we wanted to help a bring this community together whilst raising money for a charity that many of us have used. We have raised in total amount of £406 and are looking into doing another event soon. Maybe for Christmas or maybe Easter.
