How to Help

Welcome to Bath Place Volunteers' Webpage!

Our main purpose is to introduce newcomers to our services and facilities and the volunteering activities/opportunities available.

The Veggie Table

As a volunteer in the cafe you can learn how to prepare and cook different vegetarian dishes. You also get to meet and interact with people from all walks of life. You learn to cope under pressure and work as a part of a team. Up to sixty people use the cafe on any given day and there is a very friendly community feel. Times - 9.30 - 2.30 Monday to Friday

The Allotment

The Veggie Cafe has its own allotment, we grow the majority of our produce to be used in the kitchen. We are looking for volunteers to help out. If you are interested in getting involved please contact Pinky on 01926 338 421.

Meal deliveries

Volunteers are needed to deliver the delicious vegetarian meals to residents in South Leamington on bicycle. Orders taken before 10am and delivered between 12 to 1.30pm.

Food co-op

The idea of the food co-op is to provide fresh vegetables that are in season at affordable prices. The food co-op makes no profit. Working in the food co-op, interacting with people (not the vegetables) is a brilliant experience. Come and join us! Times - 9.30 1.00 Wednesdays

Nursery

The pre-school nursery caters for children aged 2 - 5 years. The nursery is fun and friendly. Times - 9.00 - 11.45 Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday. 12.30 - 3.00 Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday

Archive Project

Archive volunteers are involved in researching the South Leamington area. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills such as recording oral history interviews, adding images to our database and putting together publications. You could also join the Leamington History Group, which meets fourth Mondays of the Month at 7.30pm at Bath Place Community Venture.

Fundraising

We are always extremely grateful for any offers of fundraising ideas. Recent car boot sales have proved very successful.
