Bath Place Community Archive Project
Originally supported by Heritage Lottery Fund, this is a multi-media social history project. It records and celebrates local stories and achievements, including the history of Bath Place and its people, from its days as a school to its role as a facility for the whole community. The links below feature local history researched by local volunteers.
Leamington History Group
The Leamington History Group is run by volunteers and meets on
Tuesday mornings at Jephson Gardens Lodge and on the fourth Monday of
each month at Bath Place Community Venture:
27 October - David Howe will talk about his book on railway history: From Snow Hill to Leamington Spa
24 November - The Restoration of Jephson Gardens, by Nigel Bishop, Parks and Open Spaces Strategy Manager, Warwick District (to be held at the Studio in Jephson Gardens)
26 January - The Waller Collection
23 February - The Leamington Floods by Colin Jennings
The group maintains acommunity archive, using images from the local area. Photos from family albums and personal collections are copied to an image database. If you have photographs that may be of interest, please let us know.
